Kedarnath Dham is a popular pilgrimage site in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, India. It is one of the Char Dham Yatra destinations and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is situated amidst the snow-clad Himalayan range, near the holy Mandakini river in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand.

When chased, he sank into the ground leaving his hump on the surface. The remaining parts of Lord Shiva appeared at four other places and are worshiped as his forms. His locks (hair) were seen along with arms at Tungnath, face at Rudranath, stomach at Madmaheshwar, and head at Kalpeshwar. Kedarnath and the above-mentioned four pilgrimages are considered as PanchKedar.
Here is a sample itinerary for the Kedarnath tour package:
Day 1: Haridwar – Guptkashi
After arriving at Haridwar, you will proceed to Rishikesh and visit Laxmanjhulla. Then, you will drive to Guptkashi and check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Guptakashi – Kedarnath
In the morning, you will drive to Sonprayag and trek to Kedarnath on foot or by pony/doli. After reaching Kedarnath, you will check in to your hotel and visit the Kedarnath Temple. You will spend the night in Kedarnath.
Day 3: Kedarnath – Guptkashi
Early in the morning, you will visit the Kedarnath Temple for ‘Abhishek’ to Kedarnath Shiva. After darshan and puja, you will return to your hotel and start the 20 km return journey from Kedarnath to Guptkashi. Vehicles will be waiting for you at the Guptkashi car park, and you will drive back to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Guptakashi - Haridwar
After breakfast, you will drive to Rishikesh and visit Ram Jhula and LaxmanJhula. Then, you will proceed to Haridwar and stay overnight in one of the best hotels. The tour concludes after breakfast on day 5.
