Chopta is one of the most beautiful, spiritual, and supernatural places in Uttarakhand. Where different types of vegetation and wildlife are often seen. Different peaks of the Himalayas are also seen here, which attract tourists. Chopta also receives snowfall in winter, due to which this place becomes more picturesque.
There is a beautiful and grand temple of Lord Shiva, three kilometers above Chopta, which was built by the Pandavas. Here Lord Shiva's heart and arms are worshipped. It is said that in the south direction of the Mandhata area, there is a holy area named TunganNath, two yojanas wide, two yojanas long, sin killer and all wishful, by seeing which man attains Shiva after getting free from sin.
A few kilometers above Tungnath is Chandrashila mountain from where the view of all the peaks of the Himalayas is visible. It is believed that Lord Rama did penance here after killing Ravana. And the moon also did penance at this place to get rid of the curse of Ganesha, due to which the place is named Chandrashila.
Today we will tell you through this travel guide that how you can visit this beautiful and supernatural place with us.
Day 1 : CHOPTA
On the first day, we will reach Chopta where we will check in at Hotel. After this, we will visit this beautiful area situated in the lap of nature. After this, we will enjoy the beautiful evening in the mountains with tea and snacks. Will take a rest after dinner.
Day 2 : Trek to Tungnath and Chandrshila
The next day after breakfast we will start our trekking for Tungnath Temple. And you will also be given the facility of lunch in the middle of trekking. Then all day we will reach Tungnath temple where after having darshan we will reach Chandrashila. From there we will see different peaks of the Himalayas and in the evening we will return to Chopta. Where we will rest after dinner.
Day 3 : Departure
After enjoying the morning we all will return to our destinations immediately after having our food. All our services will end after dropping you at the designated location.
